theSMEboard provides Internet access to a fair, transparent and orderly market upon which a company's shareholders can buy and sell its shares.

It is designed to serve small private companies whose trading activity complies with the Government's Low Volume Financial Markets policy (less that 100 trades - or less than $500,000 worth of trades in any 12 month period).

theSMEboard is completely private and secure and is only accessible to participants registered with the company. Once registered, participants need no more than a browser-equipped computer.

The author of the system was a founding director of what has now become the National Stock Exchange of Australia - and who still serves as Chairman of that Exchange's Listing and Admissions Committee.
